Title: power steering enquiry

have I got this correct after a power steering pump renewal -- top up reservoir - turn steering wheel first one way then the other 45 degrees , repeat twice . then turn steering full lock both ways twice. then check fluid level. procedures done with engine running. I think that I have it right but would like a nod . thank you

Full lock to full lock  engine running cap loose check and repeat until steering smooth and even both ways. Car might appreciate the wheels being off the ground ;)
