electric hand/parking/emergency brakes ..... the answer to a problem that never existed.

At least my ML's only goes on when I tell it to & not automatically when the car stops.

Agree. Plus the stupid interlock . Open your door and the handbrake comes on.

Not always .....  :-\ It'll go into Park if already in Drive, but doesn't always put the parking/hand brake on. In 4 plus years I've never quite worked out when or why it'll put the brake on. I know that if it puts on itself, it won't auto release & I have to release it - that's caught me out once or twice.

Burger King has been taken to court somewhere, probably America, on the grounds that their Whopper isn't really a Whopper!  ;D

....

Impressive for something from 1977 built by communists. ::) ::) ;)

I was amazed that the V12 still used a rope type rear crank seal

As they shopped on line I would immagine the bank/police will have gained acces to thier delivety address so thay can go pick the fraudsters up. :y
I've no idea how it works cos I've never done it, but you can have stuff delivered to the big yellow Amazon lockers .... you then show a barcode & it opens the appropriate locker door (I've collected stuff from them for my daughter) no delivery address required.
Six police cars and man with a deerstalker and magnifying glass hanging around would probably tip them off  ;D
;D ;D ;D

How did that work then?  ???

Some kind of scanner attached to the cashpoint that swiped Mr B's card details?  :-\
That scam has only been going for about 20 years  ;D

I've heard of it but have yet to see anything untoward on a cashpoint  :-\

yesterday evening Mrs B went to a cashpoint at a petrol station/Co-op to get cash for our daughter. She commented at the time that it was a grotty, dirty thing.
For what ever reason .... 6th sense  :-\ .... she looked at her on-line banking on her phone when we got back home less than an hour later. There had been 3 payments of around £35 to a local shop selling 'back to school' stuff .... uniforms, pens etc and 3 payments to Next on line for around £40/£45 taken from her bank. In total around £250
She obviously phoned her bank to sort it out .... hadn't quite tied the cashpoint & the fraud together .... but talking to her bank, that's exactly where the fraud had taken place.

All sorted now & the money was back in her account last night, but just goes to how quick these buggers are. And would they have taken more if Mrs B hadn't noticed as quick?

I fell asleep and only saw the beginning and the end, which was enough to get the gist of it all.  :)

I did enjoy the following youtube vid though which was an episode of Harry's Garage and he took his 16 year old L322 Range Rover to visit a neighbouring farmer who happened to have an almost identical Range Rover. It was Jeremy Clarkson.  ;D

Two old blokes chatting about Range Rovers was surprisingly entertaining and I managed to stay awake!   :y

I enjoyed that too  :y :y

I wouldn't mind Harry's XJC V12 ......  ;) ;)

Converted to a 5 speed manual if memory serves.

Yes .... He spent some serious money on it though. IIRC he paid something like £5k or £6k on it in the first place but spent about £70k in total ... and then a bit more on the fuel injection.

But Jags should be auto's  ::)
