Omega Electrical and Audio Help / another ccr 2006 question

my omega 2000 V facelift is displaying the "cdc safe" message but from what I can gather it should still spit the cd cassette out when asked too,problem is mine does not so am wondering if their is another fault as well. anyone any idea if these units are still available exchange from vauxhall and for how much.

Omega General Help / miggy cutting out

Had a problem with the mig tonight,after a 6-7 mile run came to a set of lights and was there idling in drive and it just stopped,restarted and it stopped again,found that by keeping the revs above 1200 it would stay running.I have just plugged my reader on it and I am showing code 19 as the only fault which incidently this car has always had since I bought it but never given any hint of a problem.
I am thinking that perhaps now is the time to get a new one or does anyone think something else is amiss

I have just picked up a set of 3.0 cams for my 2.5,are 3.0-2.5 sprockets all the same,I asume I use the original sprockets again,hopefully someone will confirm

I have found a set of 3.0 v6 cams for my 2.5 but sadly the divider is missing from the donor engine,do I really need it??,and will it make much difference to the end result.

Omega General Help / elite estate rear self levellers

does anyone know if monroe LA361 shocks are compatible with the elite set up,my local factor lists them for the estate at £115 per pair complete with air connectors but I am not sure if they can be connected to the existing pipework or wether they are designed to be pumped up with a footpump via schrader type valve.My elite has been garaged over the winter and I have just noticed that the n/s shock is leaking oil

hi there,just joined up having sold my grand cherokee and bought a 2.5 elite auto estate,I am fairly well clued up on cars as I run my own garage business but that doesn't mean I don't need help sometimes,I look forward to taking part here in the forums
