Worst thing about this whole lock down malarkey is the tips being closed.

Might have to acquire a skip, assuming that you can put any old shite in them :-\

Quite agree Doc, plenty of time to clear all your old cr@p out but nowhere to take it. ::) Unless you take a leaf out of the fly tipping retards book that seem to be operating round here. Have seen quite an increase when on my bike rides/exercise.  >:(

your not allowed to dump asbestos ,fridges, freezers containing CFC
most household waste is ok but you can't put "fire" in a skip
I find fire best left to it's own devices, it tends to go away on it's own eventually ,just leaving ash

if you wish to dispose of your used andrex mountain then the fire service have said don't have fires  ;D

Wifey's birthday today. Can't go out to shop or eat, so I'm making her a roast lamb dinner followed by red velvet cake and cream. Not very inventive, but she loves her roast lamb and I'm not really capable of anything more fancy.

Hammerited a couple of cast iron parasol stands. One is for the cheapo little one we have. The other i have adapted to hold a bird feeder stand. Must admit that SWMBO was right, they were looking shite. ;D

Yep. That's what they're for. Any metal will be kept by the skip company to weigh in. You shouldn't put anything in a skip that you couldn't put in one of the bays/containers at the tip, though. Used engine oil and dynamite for instance  ;D

Painted the eaves of the house at the front, not a fan of heights at all but, its done for a few more years.

Re-sanded the Dexta Nose cone and bonnet, final top coat at some point this week.

Then the bloody mower would not start, the carb mounting bracket had cracked so out with the welder and grinder, new bit of fuel hose, clean the carb and all good to annoy the neighbour with the noise again
