Mine seems to go sideways a lot now. Not sure if the tyres are not liking the limited use, of if the roads are greener.

It certainly caused a major clench the first time it got all messy, but I'm expecting it now.

Excuse me Sonny, motor vehicles don't just go sideways on their own, they need encouragement, normally by excessive use of the right foot ;D
mines gone sideways at under 70 before now ,the corners are too tight officer

There are days, particularly driving past the local Audi dealer, when I think a bright blue or gunmetal RS3 saloon would be a good idea...

Then I remind myself that it's a VAG product and the deposit would cost more than my last three cars combined :D

stuff in the boot is only the equivalent of a pair of fat lasses in the back seats  :
Pirelli rear tyres on the back ,whilst having  about 6mm of tread ,may be due changing

but i'll empty the boot and "stress test" on some sharp corners first
it's been an expensive month  :-X

The arse end of my omega was always trying to overtake the front, even in just damp conditions. Tyres were mid range, so that's probably why. Used to put the shits right up my missus, she having never driven a RWD.

I can't have driven mine hard enough as I've never had problems with grip and when it comes to tyres I go for "black and round".

The Omega is more stable than my carlton was at speed ,or maybe i just don't push the Omega as hard .
thinking about it , not checked the tyre pressures in a while, so will empty the boot a bit and check the pressures and test drive tomorrow, have to go shopping and to the oldies
I can then jack up the Omega and check all the suspension etc on mum's drive  :)
and wash it ,as my daily exercise  ;D

I might service the brakes on the XE, give me something to do.

They don't need doing being only just over a year old, but hey, keeps me busy

Last week I found that the Omega's ABS is not working. The wheels locked during an emergency brake. The panel light is off, I’ll check to see if it’s burnt or out of place. I started changing the brake fluid and took the opportunity to change the power steering oil.

Had the aircon regassed, all leak free, but a sensor has thrown a code apparently, so will need further investigation once it is established as to exactly which sensor is annoyed ::)

I need to do mine, one of the fronts developed a creak.  I know the pads are low as well.

Its just a bit difficult at the moment due to space on the drive, so it'll be a post lockdown task.
