Is there a clever bod on here who knows how to permanently disable the TPMS on a Jaguar XFR?

Time and time again I have checked for there to be no apparent fault........I want them dead and gone.

In 'days of olde' we used to periodically check there was air in the tyres and oil in the engine but apparently this task is too much for some today.

Still remember dad checking the pressures on the company Bedford TKs by giving them a kick with his steel toe capped boot

and have you 'told' the car that the tyre pressures are now correct?

The indirect system on mine needs to be told that the current pressures are now correct ...... the more expensive direct version has temp/pressure senders in each tyre that tell you the actual pressure in each tyre.

The system on my car was designed by Noah much like the Satnav. It doesn't have  posh luxury items like a brown Mercedes.

could be flat batteries in the TPMS valves 
there is a reset procedure if not ?  google 
I fitted TPMS to Mrs builder's astra,shows temp and PSI on all 4 corners ,bleeps if it goes bellow the threshold ,I still check the tyres ,but think for women, TPMS is a good idea (in case of puncture etc )

If when fitting the tyres (or overseeing the tyres being fitted) you or your tyre fitter clean the bead areas and use an entire tin of bead sealer you’ll never need to check the tyre pressure 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Is it complaining about a single wheel, or just "TPMS Fault"?  I seem to get the latter after its been sideways a lot, and particularly if it hasn't had much use - seems its oversensitive to low battery voltages.

DTM will know for definite, but I suspect its a case of deleting it in the CCF, and possibly also removing the module (to avoid unexpected CAN messages)
