I know they are rarer than rocking horse plop but does anyone have a set of front MV6 LSC springs with lowish mileage on them?
-
doesnt that chappy with the PFL being broken on ebay have a set of springs for sale? Satin red, as I recall (and is/was a member on here) gtstylebaby wasnt it?
Probably old news and long since sold, but just in case.... :-\

Was under the impression that Pre-facelift MV6 springs are not the same as facelift ones. :-\

Will fit.

From memory pfl was lowered just using shocks
Facelift was springs and shocks

Problem is age / mileage... PFL MV6 springs are going to be 18 years old with around 200K on them...
-
So sagging a bit so will be lowered :D

Piffle... the shocks only function is to suppress spring bounce. Using shorter shocks to compress the standard springs would destroy the shocks in short order ;D

Yes mate it was me and I'm still here just lurking in the background lol don't always sign in. The springs where off a pfl but only had just 90k on them and where in good order sold them about a week ago could not believe i had them so long to be honest but you just never know. Just got rid of the shell from the elite and left all the front suspension on cause i didn't want to store it as long as the other lol same i left a few bits on it but i can't keep stuff forever and i still have loads in the garage big clear out soon i think. Thanks dbg for thinking of me though alawys happy to help fellow oof'ers

Ahh, I tried, haha.
But glad they did go to decent home. ;)

Probably better off with a pair of Eibach front springs then a pair of second hand ones.
Chances are they will sit just as high due to the second hand springs not been knackered :-\
