Pretty sure its Renault diagnostics only but will enquire further. Resident expert on the Renault forum warns strongly against buying used ones with high expectations of being able to programme them to the engine. He says its pot luck and theres a good chance it wont work.
My thoughts at the moment are to ignore his advice, buy one for £40 and hope for the best.
After that ? buy a box of swan vestas might be the wise option.
maybe a local garage can program them, worth a few phone calls
I won the race anyway
another Astra H added to the fleet
2007 design 5 dr hatch but not diesel , a 1.6 petrol ,my brother won't do many miles ,so petrol will be fine
looked at loads ,lots of lies on adverts
and decided the petrol one was the best of what was about local.
prices seem high at the moment and i couldn't be arsed to bid on ebay ones and take that chance without viewing them .
