Normal to a point... top mounts might be starting to get soft/split looking at the gap... 3-5mm on a parked car is perfectly fine :y

There probably isn't an omega alive now that doesn't need new top mounts. At least 13years sat on the same suspension and top mounts will mean some compression of the rubber is inevitable.

....unless it's spent a good portion of its life lifted off the floor of course. ;D

New top mounts gives an improved supplelnes to the ride.

... However those pics are not particularly bad examples. The bearings could be pitted though, as mine where.

I will replace them at some point, I've got a lot to do this weekend on the car  :'(
