Another year,s mot
Would feel happier if some b*****d
hadn,t keyed passenger side last week.
Any ideas on best way to treat?
Some of it,s not too deep.

Have had good results with a DA polisher... Have a look for my Flickr "shampooefficient", I think the pics are on there. Flickr doesn't work on my phone else Id find the link...

Colour magic (polish with a colour in) works pretty well and is of course cheap and easy.....and leaves it shiny!!

If you can get your thumb nail in then it won't buff out!
1st thing to try is....does it disapear with a bit of spit? sounds a bit strange but if you put a bit of spit on your finger and run it over the scratch does it fade?
If it does you can get a can of clear lacquer and an artists brush and touch the scratch in.
If it doesn't then you will have to get the correct colour from a local auto paint supplier and touch it in first before using the clear.
I usually get a 1/4 litre rather than an aerosol.
The only way to get a professional finish is to have it properly painted, but I usually get good results from the above.
Most people just use a touch up stick on there car but the clear lacquer is usually all you need.  :y
