When I go to my profile to add my pin, I can see the section relating to the member map, but alongside it is just a box to enter text in.  No map or search box.  Am I being a plumb?  :-\

Edit: Or is it just because I'm running a very old version of IE?

I doubt IE6 would work (not got IE6 anywhere here to test). IE7 should I would have thought.

I'll try it at work tomorrow then. Cheers.  :y

 :D
Tried to add my location (IE9) by following the instructions (quite a few times) given but it would not work!
Tried to use the area in my profile but the map simply would not open to search for my location and the search function, when told to use it, only brought up posts that contained the word leicester.
At this time not very impressed with the new map even though it appears to be a better one simply because I could not add my location.
Motto must therefore be 'if it is not broke don't fix it'.
Someone please explain just how this new map is supposed to work ;)
If many members are having difficulty by not having an early version of IE (6,7,8 etc) then surely it is time that OOF caught up and upgraded their version to IE9 which I am told does have the facility to be backward compatible with previous versions of IE?

This test site has now been switched off.

Thanks for to all those who tested it.

It seems the majority think this is a better option than the current Zeemaps one we use currently.  Those leaving suggesting it isn't, can you comment why?  :)

Thanks again.
