We were talking about this earlier. having spent a great many years in and around Leicester , I was pleased that leicester did so well last year. Don't know much about football but I agree they seem to have short memories. Not every team can win.

With the new funding formula, starting next season, there is £9 billion to be divided between the teams in the premiership over the period 2017/19.  No one wants to miss out on that.

Leicester won the premier last season because they managed to carry on the attitude and work ethic that Pearson drummed into there brains the season before.
Sadly with the fame and fortune came complacency and over inflated ego's  :(
Ranieri is a great coach but was too nice and loyal to his established first team and when the time came to kick some arse / heads / throw certain big name charlie's in the reserves for a few months, he bottled it and paid the price with his job.

Sad really because I was looking forward to our game in a couple of weeks because we do have a habit of hammering the final nail into managers coffins  ;)

Sport is one of the more direct results based jobs, if you don't perform then it is bye, bye. ;)

Football is tame compared to much more brutal results based sports, like boxing. 8)
