Window opening when it feels like it
« on: 19 August 2015, 11:22:09 »

2000 PFL CDX estate petrol manual. A while ago I replaced the door strap on the driver's door; during the operation the window stopped working, only to mend its ways on completion of reassembly. This morning the passenger door window refused to open; bother, I thought, probably a fuse. Fuse OK. However, after an hour I tried it again, and it worked. Puzzling.
It may be relevant that the 2 rear windows are fixed closed by wood struts, but when the switches are depressed motors can be heard whirring.
