Omega Velour floor mats from Dealer
« on: 30 June 2009, 20:01:15 »

Hi all,
Went into my local dealer to pick up an aux belt for my Omega today. Enquired about a set of the velour floor mats with the Omega name sewn on the front mats. He said they were £38 and with tc I'd get a 10% discount. Does that sound right? I rememer some people saying they were about £25.

On the subject of mats I want to transfer the OE Omega ones (as mentioned in OP) from my CDX into the Elite.

The CDX has clips to hold them in place but I cannot seem to find the fittings for said clips in the Elite (by that I mean I cannot feel them through the carpet)

Are the fittings there in every car? Getting annoyed with silly little mats in the Elite finding their way up underneath the pedals

I got them ('96). Daddio has them in his facelift....hmm, don't know what to say.

Always found the clips to be rubbish, though. Mines constantly stuffed up too far, fouling my footing.

Got a mat from Billing a couple of years back for a pound.  :y  I'm sure a set can be found for sub-stealer prices.

Looks like I might just pay the stealers what they want. I've looked on the internet for ages and can't find any at all. Has anyone seen some out there? Looking for the one's with Omega sewn into the front mats. Would rather avoid paying £38 with 10% tc discount if I can help it. There is a set on ebay for £25 but look really worn and tired.
