Don't lift a finger until contracts exchanged.

Considered renting yours?

Sort of. Plan is to sell London house, buy Wales house and London flat. Rent London flat.

Need to sell house for cash to do the others.

I'm really hoping for exchange this week, if not it could all fall apart as sellers start pulling out  :(

I've just thought, maybe Opti has a few £100k in spare cash he could let me have  ;D

Yeah, I hope so. It's just so frustrating not being able to speed things along.

I just so much want to p*** off out of London to a better lifestyle ( I hope !)

It took my next door neighbour 6 months from offer to signing contract due to various problems in their chain. In the end it was only finalised and contracts exchanged 4 days before everybody moved. I could see how stressful it was for them and how the stress evaporated on the day they exchanged.

So hang on in there and I'm sure it will all work out.  :y :y :y

Where I keep in contact they are really happy where they have moved to, on the outskirts of Bournemouth and I'm sure you will be the same in Wales.

The way things are going, I'm seriously considering NOT buying a house down there. I'll just find a very lonely windswept hill and live there as a hermit communing with nature   :D

Well we're taking a chance . . .

Not exchanged contracts, but removal people coming next week to empty the house. Everything going into storage and will live out of a suitcase. All ready to go . . . . . Yes I know. It can still all go wrong  ???

My brother had to rent for six months before moving in. The buyer wanted his house for his daughter who was starting at Liverpool uni. He'd have lost the sale....but it all worked out in the end, despite having to 'waste' £4000 on rent.

You would need two...

A nice big RV stylee thing to live in, and a long wheel base transit as a shed, towing a car trailer so that nipping to the shops is easier :y

Suddenly . . . . . . . everything happens and looks like moving out of our home of 18 years on Friday this week ! Exchange and completion on same day.

Holy cow ! So much to do. Can't sleep, why else would I be posting here at 4am ?

One of the most stressful occurrences in life, Rog. Take charge, boss everybody about and shout a lot. That should do the trick.
