My favourite author of fiction books Clive Cussler died 24th Feb aged 88.

aren't all similar pulp series? At least Cussler was readable, unlike most authors of that type.

I think when established authors start using other ghost writers to collaborate on their later books it seems, to me anyway, that it waters them down somewhat. Clancy,s later stuff springs to mind too. I've read a few of Cusslers books and have found them entertaining Nick.  :y

This is not Michel Roux Jnr who you see on TV quite a bit, it's his Dad. I met him once. He and his brother Albert used to run La Gavroche, a seriously expensive restaurant in London. I went there once and he took our order himself. The menus did not have prices except the one given to whoever made the booking, in this case me!

In answer to my own question, it's Raymond Blanc and not Michelle Roux who is the "eh voila"  PITA.  ;D Apologies to Michelle. :)
