Small amount of play on electric seat runners
« on: 10 November 2012, 13:30:32 »

Hi there i have a 3.2l 2003 Elite which is lovely car - recently the drivers seat has a small amount of play (backwards and forwards) and does not lock 100 per cent into place. (its only millimeters of play but annoying when you break for a round about etc)

Does anyone know a fix for this.

Thanks

Nick

Check the bolts are secure... Surely if there's play in the mechanism then it need a whole new mech? :-\

Check the bolts though :y If the seat has been out, and not torqued up on refitting, they can work loose.

Have had this happen with a couple of cars, including my last Omega :-\
