RWD
Auto

Last time I bought a RWD it was only 600cc and and had some cylinders missing, did have Merc written on the tiny engine though.  :-\

On a more serious note, I wouldnt rule out a Lexus model, I ended up by accident driving about in a  run around iS200 for over a year,  and have to admit it did change my views on them, OK, So there's the Name involved, but they are basically a well designed Toyota with all the useful bits added on,  and have bloody good reliability, no experience of the Diesel versions though.

89.9p in My nearest Morrisons at the moment, when they can actually be bothered to stock the stuff, taking the piss if I'm honest considering it was only 37.9p this time last year at the local Sainsbury's before they decided "were not playing that game anymore, so bugger off".

Obviously I'm referring to LPG, which is now like Liquid Gold unless you live in Brum or Manchester.  >:(

Best I can get on the UL Jungle Juice at the moment is 137.9 or 145.9 for the pure Crude in East London.  :y

Omega General Help / Re: 3.2 conversion Worth it
« on: 15 October 2023, 03:54:41 »
I would agree wit TB on this, stick with the 3.0 Lump if its a good one, the 3.0's were top end happy at higher Revs, the 3.2's more tourqe'y at low low revs but a lot worse for overall MPG.

Cheapest Mod for the 3.0's is to Chip it, Courtenay or SuperChip makes it slightly more push able , to go a bit further, a decent Exhaust, and a tiny bit more with Wider Throttle Bodies and 4 x G Cams (Dont lose the standard Opel/Vx Intake Multi Ram Setup though), going down the Turbo / Supercharger route will probably just shag the Engine if pushed to its lmits.

Omega General Help / Re: LSD limited slip differntials - Omega B
« on: 15 October 2023, 03:37:36 »
I have a couple of good LSD from Ex Police, one still on a 3.2 Manual Special, and the other sitting on a shelf, both are 3.7 Ratio (Manual) the Auto Box versions where 3.9 Ratio, not selling at the mo, although  things may change early next year. Worth noting that a lot of Ex Plod Diffs were self destroyed by peeps putting the wrong Diff Oil or lack of Additive in them or even by the VX Dealer topping up with standard Diff Oil, so If you do get your hands on an Omega LSD check that the LSD Clutch is not  already shagged with the wrong oil or Additive.

Fairly sure CCleaner does or did search for empty foldes, but CCleaner gone down hill a bit lately.

If you search back on OOF I did post up a really good Free Cleaner Link but i cant for the life of me remember the name of it at the moment (no lappy at Hand).

If its just the Folders you want to Kill Off fairly sure you do this with Win7/8/10 using advanced File Searching or simular.

I just binge watch something on a streaming service.

Did the whole of "Big bang theory". Currently going through NCIS. ;D

That's impressive, for the last 25 years I been trying to watch every episode on Pornhub but I'm still less than halfway through it.  :)

folk were spending like there was no tomorrow, cost of living crisis certainly didn't exist there. So all this I've seen on the news about failing restaurants could simply be that perhaps that they're just not good enough to survive anyway.

The Cost of Living crisis seems to mostly effect the Peeps that couldn't really afford it in the first place, closely followed by the, if we cut back we should be ok for now, Group, but there are still plenty of, Crisis, What Financial Crisis?, that just seem to spend money like its going out of Fashion, if were not careful we could end up with a Country of Have's and Have Not's.

Omega General Help / Re: What does this pipe do?
« on: 11 March 2023, 01:07:50 »
As far as Im aware its a Hard ABS Plastic Heat Resistant Pipe with a One Way Valve, the idea being it doesn't collapse like a Rubber Pipe could do under a high vacuum pressure. so needs to be replaced like for like rather than any old rubber pipe. ;)
Talking about swapping out the clear hose from the valve to the vac T ;)

That would originally have been black rubber. :y

The main vac pipe from the plenum to booster is indeed a different animal and is heated, joined and crimped to the fittings. I seem to recall it being a plastic coated metal pipe. In theory you can buy all the parts and make a new one, but it's a bear to do.
Fair do"s  ;)

Nice

I now own OV03 LJL
The Black Sister Car to mine, nice, does it still have all the Hidden ExPold bits installed in there?, I was extremely close to taking that off of J a few years back, but seem to remember my Finances were a bit tough at the time, then a week or two later it got Sold.

Yes,  It is mine,

3.2 Special, Ex Plod, Thames Valley, Sister Car to Josh"s Black one, Manual, LSD, LPG Converted, Stainless Steel Power Flow Exhaust, Enlarged Trottle Bodies, Gas Flowed Penlium, Remapped, for a lot more HP to suit the Mods, Full Leather Recaro MV6 interior to be fitted in the Garage next to it, probably the most responsive Omega I've ever driven if I'm honest and I've owned a few and driven more.

And the CCTV on the Area works really well.

Being polite, what's your interest?
