Title: A/C
Post by: Mr.OmegaMan on 16 May 2017, 19:24:27
The 2 front A/C fans on a 3.2 Omega, Is there a guide on the best way to remove them? One of mine seems to have seized solid :-\

... I've had a look but couldn't find a guide?

If there's no guide, Has anyone done this job? What's the best way to remove them?

Thanks in advance  :y

Only one way... Rad/Cooler/Condenser out.

At very least lifted clear of mounts and pulled back towards the engine.

Fan might be freed in situ but unplug it first  :y

Feared as much....  :-\

Just got the A/C all good again... Typical.  ;D

Are all the fans the same (drivers side) front fan? That's the one I need.

The only one I can find for sale with the same part number is this one from OSP. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/380068784718 although I do believe he still offers the 10% discount.

I take it if a new one is available it would be a stupid price.

Me too, never sold one from all I've broke over the years. I've a 2.2 I'm breaking and will have a look at the numbers on it
