If you have alarm then the YP version will do the trick.
You probably need to program it with a Tech2, power windows and sunroof, key fobs and imo.
You need to have the security code of the new YP module for that.

Yes, 74 Ah fits perfectly, but lager not without modifications.

These 3

Lager then a 72 Ah will not fit in a V6.
A 85Ah is 315mm long and then you must remove this bracket.and there is no support for the connectors any more.
The 2.5 DTI has a different bracket but that will not fit in a V6 because of the water hose and the aircon hose and the pas hose

The fact that you didn't fit the Pedders ones is probably where your NVH issues came from.

Probably.

Okay I will keep that in mind.
Perhaps I will give it a go, you never know.

They sit between the subframe and the chassis and are far more substantial than the original slice of rubber...

That I understand, but in de EP1145 set are these also, are these not good?

The PU set that I had was not from Pedders. But spending $150 just for tying out is little to much.

I drove about two weeks with poly's and it was driving me nuts, to much noise and vibration.
Handling was awesome but not the nvh so I switched back to the original ones.

Just asking why also these Pedders EP1168?

Same ECU as the Omega 3.2 / 2.6
TCM same as the Omega 2.5 DTI with the 5L40E
But probably with some different firmware in both.
Only difference is with the CTS 5L40E is that the selector handle axle is on the other side.

The Cadillac CTS 3.2 (same engine) 2003/2004 has a 5 speed 5L40E.

If you're bored and prepared to experiment, then you might be able to make the four cylinder one fit :-\

You are always welcome to visit me.

Not sure why you'd bother with a sandwich plate given that the V6 has oil cooler lines direct from the block to feed the standard oil cooler anyway.

Someone I did know tried that and he blew up two oil coolers. So I thought that the oil pressure is to high if you connect the oil cooler this way.
But probably they were not the correct oil coolers or wrong modell.

Quote
As said, though, the standard oil cooler isn't a bad setup so why change it?

No it isn't, why would you want the oil temperature over more then 100 °C the optimal oil temperature is 80 °C
This setup is only for the eco shit emission, if the oil is quicker warm the engine emission are better.
If you always drive the speed limit never drive sportive, do not tow a caravan etc. then it will work, but if drive more sportive and faster (in Germany) then the oil cooler setup could be better.

Same as why people want to fit a spin on oil filter ....  ::)

Because it is a shit construction. if you are unlucky, you will not unscrew the lid but the whole oil filter house. And then you have a challenge to get it right again.

Has anyone installed a sandwich adapter plate oil filter for external oil cooler for a V6 yet?
I have seen that there is not a lot of room for expansion.
