Pat and Chris will be there!!! That's cool, hopefully VTL will be done by then, Pat can tell me the horror stories of how no doubt VTL made 'tactical contact' in a fair few pursuits  ::)

Just been to take a look at the site

Admission Charges

Adults & Children - pedestrian access on the day       £5.00

Private cars - on the day £25.00

Private cars - advanced sales via Ticketmaster (plus booking fee & p&p) £20.00

Minibuses (upto 17 seats) - on the day £60.00

Minibuses (upto 17 seats) - advanced sales via Ticketmaster £50.00

May seem an expensive day out, but I'd pay the money, as knowing it's going to a good cause makes all the difference - Our lads & girls need all the help they deserve.

Also found this link off the site, maybe worth a peek ?.

it all goes to help the heroes, i myself am using the police car for "rides" on the runway, with the other preserved cars, it will set me back about £80 round trip to the show, plus about £50 on the day in fuel on the runway.
In the process, i aim to help towards raising £1000 or so from the police cars.
Pat and Chris from "roadwars"  have agreed to do something on the day with our thames valley cars too.

see you all there!

where else can i go 140 with the gear going!!

Into the back of someone doing 130  ::)  ;D  ;D

How do you get around to shows, without getting tugged for impersonating a Police Officer in your car then, as from what I gather it's a x2 year sentance if caught ?.

Normally with the blue lights bagged up and NOT IN SERVICE magnetic covers on any POLICE wording and crests :y

EDIT: I think you need permission of the Chief Constable of the force your car is badged to as well.

BUMP!   THIS SUNDAY !!!

we have a selection of classic and preserved police cars and there are many many famous people coming to the event, its an airshow, and vehicles,  please come and support the help for heroes cause.

We arent just doing runway rides in the police cars for the public, we have a large circuit (think it includes the roads) under police escort, offering public the chance to go out in real and restored police cars, we are taking a couple of ex thames valley vectras we bought that where on roadwars, undercover cars!, its going to be a fun day out for anyone who can make it.
I am in a grey vectra, as i sold my marked omega to keith.
Please come and make yourself known, will be nice to see people.

Pat and Chris, from roadwars are coming also, and the police interceptors, and Tim Scouthern from sheffield, from tv cops.  and a hercules c130 should be landing after a display, and in theory, public could get a close look at or in the plane. lots happening!

Locking thread, as this meeting was last summer!

Not sure if one has been organised for this year.
