As an unbiased outsider, the Lib Dems have a lot going for them (on paper).

They are not far left Loonies that are going to rack up an even more monstrous debt with their making the rich poorer and poor a bit richer policies.

they are not far right loonies going to (apparently) worsen workers rights and definitely make the rich richer and the poor poorer.

What could possibly be bad about striking a middle course ?

Mind you it is all academic as due to politicians inability to sort Brexit, the election will no doubt be all down to which candidate fits your mindset. In/out /shake it all about. Not that party manifestoes are of any import once elected.

Correct I still fervently believe the EU in its current and none changeable format is wrong.

My comments referred to the general year to year politics and not the exceptional Brexit scenario.
