As already stated on another thread I am back next week after 6.5 months away.  It also looks like that next summer I will lose access to the workshop facilities I enjoy on a regular basis.

When are people up for the (possibly) final Hampshire cambelt meet?  November is completely out of the frame and December is party season.  What does everyone think of Jan/feb?
Works for me  :y

Count me in .. even if nowt needs doing i'll come along to help/drink beer/eat curry/talk crap ....   :) (and if you need the small BBQ again....  :) )

There are some dates in Jan/Feb that might not work .. but we'll have to see what you decide .. :)

Stick me down too General ..... Jan/Feb 2013 sounds good to me! :y

Might be an opportunity to fit the Powerflex A/R bar bushes that've been sat on my workshop bench for ..... er ..... quite a while now! :-[
I'm sure that Shackeng'll be quite interested in watching the proceedings too! ;)

I certainly will Seth, thanks for pointing me this way. Only trouble is, which one do I bring? the 3.2 for an ATF change, or the TD for a gearbox swap? Are there likely to be enough suckers strong helpers to assist in swapping my AR25 for an AR35? (Which sits in the corner of my garage and looks at me accusingly every time I pass it!) If so count me in. :y

Absolutely, the ramp in the new place is perfect for gearbox changes.  Lots of space underneath even when fully down and lots of room on top to move the car fwd and back :y

What were you playing at?

Sassanach and I had one out, dismantled, investigated, and a replacement put in in 2 hours ;D

But, then, I think he's done it before. Several times ;D

And more recently, Sassanach and I had one out, new thrust washer fitted, and popped back in in about 90 mins.

The guy is a monster with these autoboxes :y

Sounds as though enough willing helpers will be there, should I get a new thrust washer as a precaution? The box to go in has done about 11k since overhaul. :-\

I have a spare thrust washer kit here you can have, also if you want to bring the other miggy down for a ATF change at some other time just let me know.  I am in the wrkshop most weekends (except November)

That's very kind, I may well take you up on that, maybe in December? I've got the ATF, just waiting for the filter. :y :y :y
