Can one remove Automatic gearbox error on the MID?
« on: 16 June 2015, 20:56:51 »

Hello

I have changed from automatic to manual on my omega, but whats bothering me is that the MID always shows the automatic gearbox error (it goes away by itself after a few sec)
Does anyone know how this can be removed?
Is the MID itself looking for the gearbox?

You can either use a tech 2 to configure the MID to expect a manual gearbox or tie the diagnostic line from the auto gearbox ECU to the MID to ground.
