Took wifey's car for service and MOT. Courtesy car was a Corsa 1.2 sri premium turbo. Nippy enough but someone had fitted a third pedal to it and it made funny, jerky movements when I forgot to press it at the lights.  ;D

Found and fixed the source of burning oil on the ex-plod (old degraded loom tape had soaked up some oil and dropped onto the manifold). Then fitted new wiper linkage to my mate's vaJazzle. A productive afternoon!

Cleaned the interior and knocked some of the leaf mulch off the outside.

Gave the Subaru a much needed wash & cleaned the inside thoroughly, looked great after a couple of hours spent on it have asked SWMBO if she wants something different but she says not quite happy to keep it.

I did tell her so DG.........she's a female didn't listen ::) She says heater went cold there was a puff of smoke and when she pulled up at a roundabout the engine just stopped and wouldn't re-start.There's coolant in header tank and oil in sump[but not mixed] and from what she told me the RAC recovery guy said the engine seems to be spinning over "too fast". I suppose I'll get roped in somewhere along the line.Good job I don't need the V70 just now :-X

Washed both of them as a treat. Plastic French thing for getting a years ticket for only £12 above the MOT fee, and the Omega for behaving perfectly again once I found the duff coil pack.
My "to do list" on both cars is now actually quite short. Although the Omega one is going to cost a few quid. New front discs and a pair of tyres. ::)
