Mine gets really dirty out and about and, if I can be arsed, I put it through the up and over when I buy diesel. But the wife likes hers cleanish so I thought I might have to do it today. But it went for a service and MOT on Tuesday and the little man at Vauxhall sent it back gleaming  :)

OCD with my vehicles I'm afraid like them clean & everything in the right place, if my missus ever drives my car and moves anything I notice it, the other thing I am obsessive about are my lawns must have something to do with all my years in uniform, like things just right.

Pretty certain none of mine have been washed in 2020. I'm going to see if I can maintain that record.

Noticed on Friday that there was quite a bit of condensation on the inside of the windows on the Omega.
Pulled the n/s/f carpet up and sure enough theres water swishing around in the footwell.  ::)
Inspection shows a little rust patch which water is seeping through, so it has now been took back to solid metal, which has left a 2p sized hole, which will be welded up tomorrow.
Then got underneath the front and spent a long time checking everywhere else around the front of the chassis for rust.
Found a couple of bits of flaky paint / underseal with a bit of surface rust underneath when it was scaraped off, but nothing to cause concern.
Clean those bits up and treated with Bilthambers finest. Will put some underseal or Supertrol over it tomorrow when its dried.
Also noticed a bit of play in the n/s/f bottom ball joint, so will change that along with the discs / pads before the MOT in 3 weeks time.

Welded a plate over the 2p sized hole I found in the n/s footwell yesterday. Im as confident as I can be that the car is now rust free.
Ive been over it from back to front and sorted any signs of rust as Ive found them.

Checked all fluids in the Range Rover haven't had to top anything up apart from screen wash  in the year I've owned it but going to need a set of tyres in the spring.
