Ordered the replacement for the XE running on Mr Optis second favourite fuel

I've managed to pause the search for a replacement car for Mrs TB, as whilst she isn't commuting, the LPG availability problem isn't a problem . TBE gets a reprieve

Still not got a scooby what to get her though.  What's Mrs DTM getting? And I thought her journeys were all fairly short?

That's only a couple of pence off what the Barge costs. On petrol

If you're getting around 20pence /mile from the barge on petrol then it's doing around 30 mpg !! No Omega v6 I know does that around town !! Lucky to ever get even low 20s ... maybe 25-28 mpg on a run

22-3ppm although it is a 5 speed auto getting around 380-400 from £75-80

A manual 3.2 Omega will return high 20's all day long... More on a run, my best tank was around the 430 mark, 360 miles was fairly typical day to day.

Mm both my 24v Senator and my 24v carltons We’re slightly better but I’m happy with almost 15 mpg on gas that’s about 20 mpg on petrol that’s all I’ll ever get from it as it doesn’t get mollycoddled👀😂

What do you get from a full tank of lpg around town? I’m around 140 Miles to a tank full (43 litres all I can squeeze in ) 3.2 Mv6 estate auto.

Never tried it, as Brakkers is only a small town.

She always says its about 300 miles to a tank, though due to shitty injectors, hers is set to switch back to petrol below about 1000 rpm, else the idle is lumpy.

Tank is 80l, so officially holds 65l. But its generally 67l

I used to get around 300 miles from my 2.5 which had an 80 litre tank.

Looking at the old records for the Omega ....  over 104,171 miles and 11 years on LPG she averaged 17.08 p/mile compared to an estimated 28.19 p /mile for petrol...  the records also show that about half of that was towing the tin tent ... I CBA to try and pull out the non-towing data from some 700 odd lines of data so am simply using the overall totals !!

The figures are somewhat scewed by the fact that they cover petrol costs that vary between 1.59.9 /litre and 99.9 p/litre and LPG that costs between 72.4 p/litre and 44.9 p/litre !!!
