Don't forget to keep you spare inflated, or you'll lose your windscreen washers.

The change should buy something interesting to put it in too...

Far canal ! What price nostalgia ? If my memory serves, they were about £300 when they were new !
At the end of the day, its still a moped, even if you can get the optimistic speedo to claim your doing nearly 60mph down a hill with a tailwind.

They didn't really think the rear end through compared to the saloon ;D

How much!!!!
I'd be rich if I'd have kept the 4 fise,,2 Rd 125, and 250f I had.
And my fise would do 60, a nice policeman told me....Raised exhaust port, cut down disc valve, skimmed head, micron, different sprockets,yb100 carb and tank, would keep up with mates Glerraa, and other lads Grrellee. Both Italian mopeds.

there's two ways of making saloons into estates:

1. Draw a rectangular box from the rear door to the back bumper

2. make it look good.

The first produces a practical car, like a Volvo, Omega, Astra etc, that's useful for moving lots of stuff, or bulky items.

The second makes a slightly bigger hatchback, which is BMW's approach.

The DS Safari loses the awkward and fussy styling of the saloon roof, and consequently looks better.

If I had Lord Opti-esque unlimited wealth,  I'd buy it and deposit it at the best classic car restorers money could buy!  :y
