A slight deviation so apologies to the OP, but I'm mulling fitting a woodburner/multi fuel and was checking out the prices of logs and coal the other day.

A local coal merchant had a notice on it's website that said that due to new regulations they are only allowed to deliver coal in open bags. Coal or smokeless oval/briquettes that are delivered in sealed plastic bags will have the bags slit open on delivery to comply with the regulations.   ::)

What's that about?  ???  :-\
.

Just checking there's no Coke or Heroin in it..👍

Certainly wouldn't take any of ours to our " illegals" car wash areas I wash them all & for a full valet I have a guy whose OCD is worse than mine when it comes to car cleaning , use him a couple of times a year on average. Combined age of our vehicles is 34.

There has been a lot on the BBC recently about "romance scams" simply unbelievable how some men & women hand out large sums of cash to people they've never met in the flesh.

Well, I wouldnt vote for any of the parties who are represented in Parliament at the moment, so not much else I can do.
They will only break up when almost no-one votes for them, but people support them like supporting a football team.
.

Yes I agree, seems strange that they all seem to have the answers but generally nothing seems to improve, corruption is rife amongst all the parties & they still get support, I wouldn't give any of them the steam off my piss.

Best piece of advice is , if it sounds too good to be true then it's Total cobblers.
I sent £50 off to a long-lost Nigerian cousin, fifteen times removed on my great grandmother's side, because he couldn't afford to take his wife to the doctor. I was rewarded with a picture of her, completely naked and, obviously, fully recovered. Money well spent  :)
.

If that floats your boat Steve crack on..😂

Does sitting in front of the computer with a box of tissues count ?

In the days before computer wizardry we made do with a copy of Mayfair or Razzle, and a sock.......which would then be put back on ;)
.

Bit squishy between the toes I would think..😂

We have decided to use her Easter holiday to finally go and have a look around for a car for wifey. I've been putting it off long enough, and she likes to see cars in the flesh rather than looking at them online. I reckon £20,000 is about our limit and I think (know) we'll get £6K for her astra.
I'm not looking forward to it, she faffs around.......a lot.
.

We went for the " range topping" 2.0 Homura just under £35,000 crazy money I know but that's the price of motors now, our neighbour has just bought a Focus for £30,000 ! Looks absolutely basic.
If you've got it, flaunt it  ;D
.

Ha ha, nothing to do with flaunting it typical woman " I like the colour of that one" ( red metallic) 😂 not interested in performance figures or anything .
