On Grimethorpe muckstack, there are loads of lovely conifers that have been growing for about 20 years, just starting to look full and smell lovely. They're cutting them down! When I asked why, I was told they shouldn't have been planted in the first place, they are an invasive species. What about these twáțs who come over on boats? I asked.
