« on: 20 July 2006, 15:47:05 »

I am alittle stuck in buying some HT Leads The ones I am looking At Say the year only gos up to 1999 models Mine is a 2000 does this matter, Infact I phoned the company who makes them and the lady said we only list to 99 did they stop making the omega in 99 ? I said No it went on till 2003 so the car after 99 must have leads from somewhere :)

yep about the same apart from having Alan Bolts it has tork bolts on the rocker cover and i have a LPG attached to the Throttle body as its a mixer system not an injection system.

Oh mine has a funny thing on the Air Pipe at the side like a block off of some discription i have not seen this on any other 2.0 liter engine on the forums wonder why its alittle different.

Dont actually know why its there I have something similar and its blocked off and does nothing obviously more visible from inside the pipe.

Does it turn round or is it fixed.

LPG looks good from what I can see of it.

Its a resonance stub......(If you have done transmission theory you will know what I mean!)

The ones shown in the pic are for an 8 valve, dare I say, pop to halfords and get soem of thier Bosch ones... (they are not a perfect seal around the cam cover but are good leads)

Hi Mark

I havent .....so havent a clue....would you like to enlarge on what it does and why its there?
Ive wondered why thats there on mine, although mine doesnt turn or move its a molded part of the air pipe

Also whats that sensor between the MAF sensor and the airbox.....my 2.2 doesnt have that

Cheers
