The quality is low to reduce bandwidth, hope it doesn't take too much away from it, if so I'll give you link to original Quicktime footage...

General Discussion Area / Lakes Tech2 stuff

Hopefully you've tested out any updates etc done at the lakes by now.  As agreed, if you are happy with the updates, see my standard pricelist (in the link in my signature) and take 20% off.  Obviously, no charge for reading and resetting any codes etc, only the updates and keys :)

PM me with preferred method of payment, and I'll let you know details.

As said at the time, if you do not think there is a significant improvement to gearboxes, no charge :)

Any feedback on what you think of gearbox is always welcome :)

I saw this car drive between the field and the site on a public highway...

I hope some of the comments, posted piccies, and yet to be posted piccies and vids, encourage you all to attend the next one.  Obviously, we are Omega owners, and discuss, even repair cars, but it is really about a big social gathering.  I'm sure everyone, including the 'OOF' widows, who attended will agree that these meets are fantastic fun.

Roll on the next one....

Do you mind your number plates being posted uncovered in pictures? Stills can be edited (though tedious), but some of the vids may be harder?

Any objections to any photos/vis of your car being posted?

The camera doesn't do justice to the Wrynose and Hardknott Passes, that later is a 1 in 3 gradient...

Obviously not problem for the MV6....

General Discussion Area / Small LCD TV recomendations?
« on: 08 June 2007, 10:38:53 »
The TV in the kitchen has just blown up :(

Now as some of you may know, I have a C&G in TV repair, so fixing it shouldn't be too difficult if I can get a circuit diagram.

But, could I be bothered? We had previously discussed replacing it for an LCD anyway, but have struggled to find one.

Anyone know of one meeting following requirements?
LCD widescreen, around 17" - 20"
Integrated freeview tuner
Integrated DVD player
Not Sony
Integrated MCE extender would be ideal, but know this is rare as rocking horse poo
PC input (VGA or DVI) would be a plus point.

General Discussion Area / Geometry - Wheels-InMotion
« on: 07 June 2007, 12:09:15 »
Please be aware, that if you are planning on visiting Wheels-InMotion that they are relocating to Hemel Hempstead (a few miles from their old place in Watford).

I'm sure Tony will be along at some point, but I know he is obviously very busy with the relocation are the creation of the new look WIM, as well as running his own forum, so may be a while.

I think this has been mentioned before, but here is a useful site for finding out what end users think of tyres...
