Spring must be in the air today!  :)

As I washed all 3 of mine.  :y

Only meant to do the BMW for advert photos, but while I had the pressure washer hooked up to the water butt.  ::)

Nothing yet, but Im hoping to muster the energy to try and find out why switching on the indicators on the 190 instantly blows the fuse, then give the Omega a much needed wash.  :)
Grounding issue at rear lights :-\

You might be due a cigar. One of the rear bulbs was bit crusty / white powdery. Cleaned it up and all seems well.  :-\
Also washed the Omega, stood back and admired it and thought to myself "that's a bloody nice car".  8) :)

Today I fitted a 7" touchscreen head unit and removed the CD30 to Mts Builders estate  :)
what an utter faf when wiring is CANBUS  :( (no switched live on the stereo loom)
Then I had to wire in a relay to the REC (rear electrical center) coil powered by the reverse bulb, and accessory switched live from the REC just to supply 12v of proper electric to power the BARC (bucket avoidance rear camera)
did not get chance to mount the BARC due to lack of light and being starving hungry  :P
But now i have all the wiring to the boot floor ,so I just need to make a bracket to mount the BARC to bellow the shed dragging bracket ,which I decided was the best place (protected from impact ,good view of behind)

Took me 5 hours  :-[
with time out to download  CCTV footage of a P155ed up knobhead smashing a neighbours van window at 6.30 am  ::)
I have fat fingers and worked slow rather than blow up Mrs Builders shopping cart  ;D

I didn't go to the pub for a pint or 3 the suppliers for materials  ::)
I should probably have R,T.F,M or got wiring diagrams before I started  ;D
much easier to fit pretty much the same system into MY Omega (non CANBUS)  ;D

Took it for its MOT, which it passed, much to my surprise. :o

Its one-way trip to Mr. Beanz has been postponed, it seems. :)

It's tricky because the foot hole had to be 30cm from a prescribed area.  ::)

Still need to get the welder out at some point.

Zafira passed its MOT this morning :)

So that's another year of abandoning it in various places where I don't have to look at it.

Congratulations  :y
They do seem a well built and resilient second car
re, the back box , I agree , the original ones are great, like double skinned , the outer rusts away to dust BUT the guts last forever  ,hence not replaced it yet  ;D
