Ok cheers Nick. I did ask my sister whose other half works in a parts factor if there was anything else that might do the job but he apparently said he doesn't know..

The problem is cant find any of them. nor can I find any of the original parts that i would grudgingly put back on to the car if i had too. there must be someone somewhere who has one they could sell me..

haven't driven mine since Saturday as it leaks oil now thanks to the shitty oil filter setup.

Well I've looked around and I cant find either the tube to convert it to spin on filter or put it back to the old annoying setup. does anyone have anything I could buy to sort my car out as I'm getting really fed up with it.

Well i've tried a metal oil filter strap type thing and bent it. I've also tried a large pipe wrench thing with the breaker bar and all i'm doing is mangling the housing up so that's it from me I'm afraid i'm done with messing with the thing.

I thought today i'd change the oil for a laugh 
and when I came to remove the cap from the rest of the housing it wouldn't come as a surprise to hear it never budged at all. so off I went to get the breaker bar on it and after a struggle it seemed to move but on checking the whole bloody thing was turning and to add insult to injury no matter which way I turned the thing I could not get it off the block or could I tighten it. so my question is what can I do to sort it out as I'm slowly going off the damn car.

My drivers door needs that repair too. and I also need to change the oil/filter etc as I've not touched it since I bought the car. and I need to get the welding done before the subframe drops out over a bump..

I used the holts stuff between the cats and centre pipes. but it is so soft and runny it took several attempts to get it where I wanted it..

That area on mine is starting to go like so many of these cars. but I need to either practice my welding or find someone who can do a decent job for a reasonable price because the front chassis legs near the front subframe mounts need doing sooner rather than later..

Having just done my estate exhaust its not a job I want to do again soon. and when I had problems removing the cat pipes I decided to call a local garage to see what they would charge for it and unsurprisingly the experts fobbed this amateur off with silly excuses as to why they don't want to do it so I don't think i'll bother them with anything more complicated than a bulb change ever again.

Well I've managed after a long tussle to change the whole exhaust just waiting on new lambdas as no matter how hard I tried I could not get the bloody things out of the old pipes.
