Swmbo told me yesterday that she had been called out of work twice to say her windows were open, on each occasion she had closed them, believing she had caught the switch the first time, baffled the second time...............

Having never heard of this as a problem I started asking a few questions, and it would seem that on the morning she had brushed snow off the car but when she opened the door some snow fell onto the switch panel in the door handle. Assuming water shorting out the switches I gave them a liberal squirt of WD40 down the gaps, seems to have done the job as no further problems................
