The android box was all they had in the last place. No tv signal at all. But did have fibre. So the android box met all their tv needs.

The ring wire acts as a decent aerial. The usual problem is it injects noise onto the B leg, which causes (mostly CRC) errors, and ADSL resyncs. Generally worse in hostile RF areas, or when Christmas lights are on/flashing.

In this case, sounds like one or more of the devices are electrically noisy, and the ring wire is picking that up.  Suspect Sammy needs a chat with some of the devices ;)

Yep, the symptom is gone, but the cause is probably still there, in that the HDMI cables are radiating something nasty. Are they cheap looking cables?

I ask as, if they're prone to radiating interference, they're equally prone to collecting it, so they might find the picture / sound on the TV drop out every so often.

Good to have got to the bottom of it, though. :y

Must sort the wiring here some time as the muppets who built the place connected one wire out of each pair to the A, B and ring lines on the faceplate. ::)

Not an issue with ADSL as I've got a filter faceplate, but there are some nearby sources of RF interference that might upset blow the @rse out of the phones. ;D

Ive certainly seen better cables ;)  I know money is tight currently, so unless theres a problem, it wont be remedied....esp as the clutch bleed lasted a day before no clutch again, no great suprise, but probably means the end of the car

Fair enough, but worth bearing in mind in case of further issues. :y

Definately, although the clutch pedal has self healed over night, must be an airlock somewhere.
