Failing that, just cut off the current cooler pipes somewhere convenient, swage the ends and bridge with rubber oil hose and a couple of jubilee clips.

Dissimilar metal corrosion would be one reason ;)

Might be an issue if under the cooler plate in coolant, but probably not an issue if just bridging the ports on the block.

Even then, with decent coolant, you might get away with it.

I would just try and source blanking plugs for where the cooler pipes come out of / go into the block.
Unlikely to need it in this country unless you  plan towing a big caravan all over the place in the middle of summer.

Wouldn't you need to connect them together otherwise you'll starve the engine of oil?

Oil temperature is unlikely to be an issue in the UK. You can always get "tell tale" stickers to apply to the oil filter or sump which record the maximum temperature. Could replace it with a sandwich plate cooler or Laminova if required.

they've been out twice collecting footage from various neighbours with cameras, so admissibility seems to be of limited consideration  :-\
Much like YZ250's comments the other day about nicking people for taking video in the car, then asking for any footage ;D

But a defence barrister would think all their christmas's had come at once...

When the pikeys damaged Mrs. KW's car we had perfectly legal cctv footage and the Police cba to follow it up.  :(

Nice looking 52 plate Nocturno blue saloon, possibly an Elite, parked alongside the River Axe, Seaton, Devon this afternoon.  :y
Wonder if that was Mr Woods old bus... Being a later MV6, it shares thd wheels with the Elite, so a reasonable interpretation  ;)

Mine didn't have a spoiler... and, as of yesterday, has been sorn for two years. :(

At the end of the day you’re asking for trouble if you mix pedestrians with cyclists, a lot of pedestrians walk around talking on mobiles oblivious to anything else,  and I’ve found if you give most cyclists an inch they’ll take a mile,  besides pavements are not wide enough for both in my opinion and should only be used by pedestrians only.

Not forgetting that the pedestrian is God now, according to the new Highway Code of hierarchy vulnerability. So, if a pedestrian wants to jump out in front of a cyclist or dominate the shared pavement, the cyclist will always be in the wrong. Rules is rules.  ;D

Quite right too. It's important that gen Zs aren't distracted from continuous social media access via their mobile phones by mundane things like the need to maintain road safety and an awareness of other people around them. ::)

I thought the Meteor and Spitfire shared the same lump apart from the Spitfire being Supercharged and the Meteor being NA.

I could well be wrong though.

That was the main difference. I think they used up "B" grade parts not suitable for aviation use and bits recovered from crashed aircraft since the engine was subject to much less abuse in a tank (and had half the power anyway since the supercharger was deleted).

Either of them when elected will be the equivalent of a Parish Council leader running a country.

As opposed to Krankie who strutted around like a world leader but was actually a parish councillor. ;D

It's a geographically large parish, I admit, but... ;)

I believe that Mk 4 Mondeos that have the torquey noisy, smoky Transit engine are quite rare these days, so maybe I could in for a similar windfall?  :)
FTFY. ;)

Thieving scummy khunts.

Suspicious car idling around the estate, stops out side, rolls down the road a ways lights off. Two sawzall cuts later drives off with the cat off a neighbours Suzuki van.

To be fair to the Police, they turned up in about five minutes with a dog unit shortly behind.
Rolled down the road a ways? Bloody Americans, coming over here, damaging our cars.
Did the dog manage to catch the cat?

Dang! Can I shoot'em now, Pa?

Ooo la la the Francophones will love this one!  8)

Hmm. Put a decent engine in it and that could be quite a cool car.
The LS1 might fit given the size of that V6, but not sure the chassis could keep up ;D

A half decent 4 pot would be more lively than the asthmatic V6 it's got. ;D
