Site very slow to load pages

Anyone else finding the site pages very slow to load, and the smilies all show errors?? .... the page data at the bottom shows pages loading in milliseconds .. but in practice there is a long time sitting showing "connecting", especially to images.omegaowners.com

Tried 3 different browsers (FF / Chrome / Edge ) and two seperate systems ..  ( PC / laptop ) .. so if its just me it must be the router, but all other sites load fine

Just found that I had to reload my login in details when usually they are automatically entered.

It is probably down to the heat!! ::) ::) ;D ;D ;)

mmm interesting ... logged out of OOF and then back in .. worked as normal for about 5 seconds.. then back to very slow and images not loading

mmm getting interesting now ... since Windows 10 upgraded to version 2004 Build 19041.450 there seems to be a new "feature" (at least I've never seen it before) in the security section labelled "exploit protection" ..  with 3 sections... Control Flow guard (CFG); Data Execution Prevention (DEP); and Forced Randomisation of Images (Mandatory ASLR) ... after turning all 3 to "OFF" normal service at OOF as been restored..... both in speed and images ....  just need to do more research now ...

All 3 are turned 'ON' on 2 laptops and 1 desktop, no problems here.

Start by clearing the cache etc.  Smilies and other static images on OOF are served from a different host to the dynamic text.  Said images server is over the pond, so it could also be your ISP having issues with transatlantic peering, though not aware of any specific issues impacting ISPs enough that end customers would see severely degraded service.  Hence, more likely local browser issue.

Cache was cleared in all three browsers earlier. Just set those "exploit protections" all back to default and rebooted.... could not connect to internet although router indicated no problems .. so rebooted router again, and all now seems to be good ... wonder if my ISP / local weather is having an odd effect ...

Looking at your IPs, are you sometimes using VPNs (looks like it), as that is a great way to ruin your life. They ain't necessary (unless you need to get inside a private network) and are a pain in the 'arris.  Best avoided, as they is *NO* viable reason to use one for accessing internet sites.

Also looking at your IPs, I think I can guess your ISP.  Whilst I'm aware that they had a peering issue in the week (as did a handful of ISPs), it shouldn't really have impacted end users significantly.
