Have a read here ... helps explain a lot .. :)

If you don't want to move the sensors, invest in a code reader/clearer ... on the DBW cars its not a matter of "if" you get an 0420/0430.. its a matter of "when" ..

I just clear them with maxscan and wait until the next time :)  takes less than 30 secs to sort :)

Means "try harder" :) at least, that's my theory. ;)

More right pedal= hotter cats= better efficiency. ........Did I mention, its a theory. ;)

Although we could do with a pre cat code party. Anyone good at welding? :)

American emissions ? Did I see somewhere? :-\

I'd also smash the pre cat out altogether. Get rid of the bloody thing. :)

I also have a plasma cutter now to make creation of the holes easier!

I read that as MDTM is volunteering. I'll remember that when it happens to mine - although I subscribe to the gixer theory.

2woody once said to me, "as the bloke selling me the cutter said, there won't be anything left in the workshop without a hole in it"

As do I, although since having to play nicely for the sake of a small puppy I have had the cat codes appearing, although not putting EML on ::)

Hmmmm, I agree, having a plasma cutter has resulted in a much reduced pile of steel offcuts!

But if anybody does want the lambdas relocted then I am sure we can sort something, the biggest challenge is removing the front pipes

Can they not be relocated in situ? is the room that bad on the exhaust that you cant cut the hole without setting fire to the shed.?

Cutting the holes would be easy enough but welding in the new boss would be a problem
