Yeah, have tried to order the original part from a couple of web stores but after a while I get a reply saying that the item is
discontinued and not possible for them to order from Opel/Vauxhall any longer Same information which I got from the dealer.

Remains to se if I can:
1. Get my hands on a used one
2. Find out if it is possible to use a similar accelerator cable, with another part No., that will fit in my car

Perhaps a cable supposed to be used in a car with automatic gearbox, will fit? (if the only
difference is that it´s equiped with a kick down switch which I can just leave unconnected)

The one i have is 90 571 262 not sure if you can use it.  It came off my manual mv6.

Yep, I´m afraid it won´t be possible to use 90571262
