Title: It's been a year and 4 days
Post by: New POD on 04 October 2017, 21:13:00
I'd like to thank whoever put all the great maintenance guides together, and the rest of you for providing polite, informed patient advice.

Just over a year ago I bought a Y reg 163K 3.2 MV6 auto saloon.

On Saturday it passed the MOT with one "minor" and 185K on the clock.

I have obviously spent more money on it than it was worth and still haven't fixed the dented door, which it came with.

This is where it started for me.

Strange. I went to Wrexham yesterday. £35 for a perfect door, with perfect trim and glass and electrics. They even removed it and put it in my boot. And it's in the right colour (petrol blue z20M), so I don't have to paint it. cause I hate painting.  :y

Then I went to Ikea in Warrington, and got changed into my suit and had an interview, at a bumper manufacturing company around the corner for a paint shop Manufacturing improvement engineer.   :-\

it was quite a day. Greeted by a welsh man, watched 2 polish guys remove the door for me , paid an Irish Man (who was in charge), had a swedish dinner, interviewed by 2 french men, went home to my English wife, and had an Chinese stir fry for me tea.
