Hi Folks,
have a cracked radiator, going to change it out myself- it looks pretty straightforward, only thing a bit confusing are a pair of hard cooler lines that run up and curve over the top of radiator, and fasten with a torx screw on top, regular hose clamps on bottom. I am guessing they are tranny cooler lines?- any specific precaution i need to take before I remove?
and as long as I am here asking, any tips or tricks for the rad change?
Thanks for the help!

They are indeed the gearbox cooler lines. Just watch out for the O rings as you lift the connection block to one side... And keep the cooler vertical so no fluid drains out :y
Otherwise simply follow the guide in the maintenence section :y

thanks for the quick reply. If there is a radiator section in the maintenance guide, I was unable to locate?
which section has radiator info?

Done mine recently . . .no guide that I could find :-\
These points apply to F/L V6 models . . .
Much easier if you remove "Bagpipes" & MAF though .
Disconnect all hoses before unbolting rad.
Thermo switch wiring connectors bit fiddly to get off & back on
G/box cooler comes out with coolant rad on F/L
Rear fan stays attached to Rad until you get it out . . .simply swop everything over to the new rad once it is out.
May have time to write you a PM this evening explaining step by step instructions of how I done it ;)

As easy to remove rear fan... Only two bolts and a plug ;)
Guide here...
