Title: alarm problems
Post by: spursyid on 19 November 2008, 21:07:00
Hi ive got a 1999 3.0 elite,The other day all 3 nearside indercaters stayed on permantly, the only way i could get them off was to remove hazzard warning fuse, when fuse put back in all indercators were working, since then when car is locked only nearside indercaters flash and the battery drains if left for 24 hours, any ideas where to start please.

have the same problem with a 2000 elite estate. to get the nearside indicators off i have to sit in the car use the key fob to lock the car, then put the key in the ignition and start the car.
this turns then off. occasionally they come back on when driving, its a real pain. if i bought a new alarm unit would it have to be coded to the car

With all indicator faults on Omegas, press the hazard switch about 50 times in quick succession, then try again.

Beyond that, need to start pinning fault down, by, for eg, unplugging alarm unit.
