Newbie Welcome Area / Im Back with a new mig

Hi from an old timer
Well for all that here have been here for a while i drove A 2.5 v6 s reg before a nice female driver wanted too see what was in my boot and gave me a shunt
off to mig heaven 
Anyway been popping in and out on here and have taken the plunge and just purchased my own Mig
its a 2.2 cd
She needs an mot then shes good to go BUT it needs a cambelt doing as theres no history
Im in hampshire and organised the hampshire meet couple of years back to those who remember
SO A BIG HI FROM ME AND THE YET TO BE NAMED MIG

HI ALL AS SAID BEFORE MY MIG HAS GONE TO THE SCRAPYARD IN THE SKY AND GOT A FEW BITS FOR SALE
IV GOT GM EXHAUST BACKBOX SILINCER THAT IS 40
A FRONT GRILLE OMEGA ORIGINAL 10ER
ALSO ABS REAR SENSORS BOTH SIDES 20 FOR PAIR
IF I FIND ANUTHING ELSE ILL POST IT UP
P.S sorry for caps phone wouldnt let me chamge it
Let me know will post small bits for small charge but collection welcomed. Will take offers (sensiable) ones

The migs going to the scrapheap. In the sky and reallu the only thing salvage is wheels all good and true 3 New tyres and one with atleast 4mm on it am looking for 200 for the lot if anyone intrested inbox me payed 300for the tyres in febuary just want to recoupe some loss on them

hi all not been on for a while but in real desperate need of a bosch abs ecu from a 2.5 v6 mig 99 plate iv got one thats a DX but rarer than rocking horse poo also can anyone confirm that as long as abs 02 numbers are the same and engine and tansmission are the same that any ecu will work please contact me on 0 7 7 8 8 2 9 8 8 1 7 if you can help please cash waiting

All of you who attended the Hampshire meet back in march do any of you remember Martin Saying about a rolling road being built there
WELL GUESS WHAT ITS IN CONSTRUCTION AND SHOULD BE READY FOR the end of NEXT MONTH

had this from a mate of mine who has inherated a 97 2.5tdi discovery
"When the disco starts there is a bit of white smoke then that clears and its
fine, when i switch the car off after it running a bit there is water
pouring out the bottom somewhere is that a cooling problem or is it
the head gasket like i was told? I think its more of a cooling problem
as in a hose is old or something along those lines. I an going to try
find where the water is coming from in the morning. The car dont get
hot while its moving but temp soars when its had a run and you not
moving but as soon as you start moving again it settles down, it just
dont seem like a head gasket problem to me. I might be wrong but i
dunno lol.......
I have not seen this disco but i still think hg gone anyone any ideas as i know you lot are mindful of knowledge

Hi all due to the sucess of the last meet back over easter weekend was thinking of another one in the summer july august time. Was thinking of a cambelt meet if anyones intrested be same location as last time use of workshop facilitys available ramps SOME tools and maybe a barbie if weathers nice!!!!!!!!

Omega General Help / Dash, ABS, TC Problems

hi all not bin on for a while as been busy with life
shot round the shop to get leccy i got back in the car and the abs an tc light on on the dash once i started it i drove down the road and the speedo stopped working revs were working petrol and temp guage were working but speedo stoped i pulled over turned engine off waited 5 mins started again still not working drove down the road the all of a sudden the lights went off and the dash speedo started working again HOW!!!!!!!
i have noticed the last week or so that abs/tc light come on for a short period then go off but just put it down to it being between 26-32c (reading from the car) i have also seen the airbag light come on but once i restarted car it went off (had to restart due to *automatc gearbox* on multidash) as u know i have gearbox issues lol just need the funds to do it

Hi all been a bit of a bad week for me had man flu and runny and counting chunks ill as you can imagine.
Any way as some of you know my key fob decided to die last week and everytime i lock the car and unlock it the alarm goes off, my (2nd hand) new ones turned up off ebay this morning

2 keys turned up with the fobs immobilser chips and 2 batterys in them too so was very happy for a £10 note including p&p
this is the key i received the one on the left is my old one i lost key and chip from and right is the new one the only difference is the circuit board and battery connector
my question is can this be recoded to work on my car
