Its that time of year again BBQ TIME so me and the misses decided to go buy a new one as we just moved into a brand new house and it just had to be done

I pulled up to pick mrs up from town yesterday and had my music relitvaly loud mrs said I could hear U before I saw you and I am a chav, Now I don't think it was too loud question is do you like your music loud and do you think its chavvey
I cannot help but my music loud I love my nose system

Omega General Help / MPG LOW

Morning peeps
Has anyone got an answer for me my mig MPG seems really low usually get between 12.8 - 14.7 why!!!
The car is mainly used for school run and around town I have changed the fuel filter cleaned the breathers taken it on a run down the motorway at least once or twice a week serviced it aboout a month ago and realised the cam cover gaskets need doing (when funds prevails)
Any help would be helpfull as I am out of ideas

Omega General Help / A/c fan Problems

hi all went and washed my car yesterday gave it a good scrub went to g3t in the car this morning and turned A/C on and there was a noise coming from the passangers side fan like a squeaking like the aux belt when tensioner is not tight enough can anyone help im going to have a look at it now i think a bolts come loose how easy is it to replace if fubared

I'm looking for the gas bonnet struts new scuttling ( so B&3TARD THREW paint over car and ruined it)
Also the cap to cover up sunroof motor
Drivers door lock
Replacement leather for my handbreak
New ciggy lighters
Headlight (as mine is smoked) LHS
coolant level sensor
& lastly cam cover gasket kit
Any help much appreciated Thanks

Just a quick one to let people know I have got a MAXISCAN GS500 that I am willing to read locals in my area Im willing to travel but not too far I charge £25 to read and clear codes and a £ a mile after 5 miles out of my postcode I will travel Southampton area free but after that it's a £ a mile inbox me if anyone needs it

hi all hope all is well on oof this fine afternoon
i just got back from taking mrs to toddler group and noticed something beculair my multidash seems to have lost pixels its only displaying part of whats on the screen but the lost pixe;ls are in random places is this a start of the multidash failing or is it having a funny 5 mins
when i got out of the car it seamed fine i left the sunroof open as its hot here got back in the car and thats when i noticed it
by multidash i mean the digital display on dash board.
any ideas gratefully received

Hi peeps just having a browse around vxonline and came across this
[/Quote\] If you want cruise control on your car, all you need to do is seach for "vectra indicator stalk" on ebay, ensure you buy one with the cruise buttons on it (you should pay between £10 and £20) and all you need is a phillips screw driver to undo 5 screws around your steering column cowling, unclip your old indicator stalk from its mount, take off the electrical connector from the rear, put your new one in in reverse and connect up the cruise to the blanked off female socket immediately underneath the upper cowling and replace everything. Total job time is about 10 minutes, costs about £20 max and you got cruise control!!! This mod was done to the SRi 130 Dti model on a 51 plate....should work on others. Check by taking off your cowelling. If you see 2 blue torpedo like electrical connectors, one thats connected and the other thats connected to nithing, it will work for you! Best find of the year by far!!

If this has been answered already then sorry!!??!!!
I have used a elm 327 BT odb meter before on my 2.5 and it didn't work tried it on a mates worked fine but I've just gone and brought a GS500 Maxiscan from eBay it turned up this afternoon tried it on my car kept saying " linking error" like the Elm so tried it on my mates Zafira 1.8 and works straight away
Why!! Is my 2.5miggy not ODB2 compliant
Confused.com I is or am I being thick

Omega General Help / HELP OIL LEAK

Hi all OOF People
got major problems loosing lots of oil like I topped it up two weeks ago and multi dash said "check oil level" which is worrying me when I changed the plugs the other week oil was in the plugs and leads also smoke/steam was coming from drivers side under bonnet also it's leaking oil above the gearbox and moving down the sump it's so bad I left a puddle on my mates drive.
Now is this the rocker cover gaskets or is it something more serious I have read

I also want to know prices of genuine parts I'm going to have to do this ASAP also is there another guides
If I do the gaskets do I have to remove the top part of the Cambelt or does this not need to be removed
Also estimated time of changing them and special requirements

Hi all having problem with my temperature read with my mig I started it cold tonight to run down the shop bout mile and half down road by the time I got to shop it had reached 97-100 and stayed at 100 with the fans kicking in and going off again only went down to 97 is this normal

Evening all hope all I'd well in land of OOF!!! 
I've just had my MOT Failure and all 4 bushes have failed on the front the two rear shockers need replacing and a tyre so not too bad (£171.56)
Also my rocker cover gaskets need replacing
Also I am having problems with coolant loss after 2-3 days no leaks visible but when I put coolant in it will last for a day or two then leak from above GBOX and empty the tank again and am stuck as to what it is the HBV was done last year just put new plugs in.
Also gearbox seams to hold gears every now and then turn engine off and back on and it's fine
When I changed the plugs there was cup fulls of oil in plug 6/4/3/1 have cleared that out
The reason I'm telling you all this is I am asking for some help From a local OOF member please I need help
