Remove the foam, and give the DIS pack chance to dry out.

You may have caught it in time, but the DIS pack won't last forever...

If them Police in America had turned a blind eye to the drink/drug driver asleep at the wheel, and he wiped out 5 innocent pedestrians (of any race)on his drive home , I doubt very much it would make news in the UK

My take on it ....
don't break the law ,
if you break the law ,expect to be arrested and thrown i a cell
expect to appear in court and be jailed or fined
if you resist arrest and run off ,expect to be tasered or shot
that applies what ever race, religion or sexuality you decide you are
the world has gone soft ,rules are there for a reason  ::)
Drunk in charge, and he was asleep, and parked. In a parking space.

Resisting and then grabbing a taser turned a misdemeanor into death.

It takes me a while to wake up properly, so I sympathise with the disorientation that may have made the bloke react poorly, but they gave him the opportunity to walk home. He declined and started being an arse... Escalation was inevitable.

They shot him three times which is arguably two more than necessary, especially as they tased him three times first.

Clearly wasn't thinking straight to think that grabbing a taser and running away was a good idea.

Arguably, if you're driving properly at speed, then you should be driving to the road rather than the speedo. This remains true whether is a fast, twisty B road or and empty autobahn. 99% of your focus should be ahead of you.  ;)

Head unit takes a couple of seconds to boot up following ignition switch on, takes another second or so from engaging reverse to the camera coming on but both camera and headunit take the reverse feed from the reverse light output on the rear SAM, which takes its instruction from the shifter module...

A switch on the gearbox is much more direct ::)

It will obviously give you an extra 1s delay when putting the car in reverse, but I'd guess that's tolerable.
Oh I don't know - my reversing camera on the Pussy has about a 1-2s delay when selecting reverse if the infotainment is still booting, and I find it really annoying.  "Time waits for no man"

Likewise my ML
Likewise mine.

They write the news rather than report it. Unfortunately in then becomes the new truth. Best ignored, but eventually their truth becomes THE truth and there's nothing to undo it :'(

I'm seriously thinking of having a frontal lobotomy before my f**king head explodes.  ;D

Can you get that done on the NHS?  :-\
Would you want to?

Most modern cars have a digital speedo if nowt else, I know both our astras have.
I think there's a setting on mine for it, and it's about the same age as your lad :D

With the average age of posters on here, it's a wonder there aren't more reports of actual telly smashing events.
True, but replacing the telly is more hassle than the short lived satisfaction of punching it...

And being of a certain vintage, we're old enough to think shit through  ;D

That's because all the journos with a passport are flying to Glasgow to complain about the lack of social distancing on flights... There would have been 15 people on the plane including crew if the press hadn't tagged along.

That's it... Not paying any more attention, it's only going to annoy me really grip my piss >:(

I just wanted to punch the tellybox yesterday when that tw@@t from the Sun asked when it was going to be available.

His face was a proper picture when the Medical chap said it's been available for sixty years and the prescribing Doctor could walk across the corridor and get it from the pharmacy  ;D
