Either or. I tend to use Groom (orange cap) on everything and I usually buy it in bulk ;)

The key thing with the belts is that they are completely dry before you retract them...

The Elite and CDX seat bolts are the same length in both my breakers - 30mm - so as said, there is only one bolt for all models, NOT different lengths. The EPC confirms one seat bolt length
M8 x 30 for all models as well....
That must be why I needed longer bolts to retrofit the Elite drivers seat in my ex plod then...  ::)

11093931 (nls)
13112808 is the part number for the M8x42 bolts used on electric seats with memory...

Learn to read the EPC before claiming to know everything  :-X

Cracking the windows on sunny days helps.

Mould is as much from historic use as damp... Crumbs and food grease from hands and fingers.

A nail brush and diluted bleach solution for the belts, ideally pulled all the way out and completely dry before allowing them to retract.

Ambersil foaming upholstery cleaner for everything else.

8078
Non Elite seats looks to be 30mm (plus head) ;)

Ping me you address and I'll post all the ones I have over :y

8079
The short (blue) ones are 30mm from the back of the head...

With the longer bolts fitted, was the drivers seat secure?

Is the aux belt attached?

Follow Kevin Woods excellent how to for battery and alternator testing. And report back.

You'll note that I started with 'IF'  ::) The colours 'MIGHT' be the other way around.

I raise the difference because I don't have the other to confirm which is which. It only affects the drivers seat. But I am not going to buy another Omega to look. :-X

Have a look through this to give you an idea of parts costs...  :-X

And this...  ;D

Discs, pads and a set of tyres will set you back the purchase price.

I hate Audis generally, and there are several reasons not to buy a rebodied Passat.

Worth watching Car Wizards videos about the RS6s that he has worked on to give you an insight into it. The engine has several issues that are designed in. Access isn't great either... Alot of engine, and most of it forward of the front axle.

With all that in mind, it's quite closely related to the Lamborghini lump, so the entry price is really appealing.

Basically, if you can afford to pay cash for it, then do it. (haggle, obviously and waving folding stuff you might blag it for £9k...) Just because... And sell it within a year.

If you can't pay cash for it, then run away...

As an analogy, if you are in Vegas and go to a casino you wouldn't throw £11k on red with your credit card. I hope ::)
