General Discussion Area / British gas @maths
« on: 31 October 2014, 16:04:30 »
Just received a letter from British Gas, good ol British company, with call centres not in Britain (well some are)

Your outstand balance of£5.62 can be repaid at £6.00 per week :P
Now I failed O level maths(got a cse) but them sums don't add up,even to me.
But the good old offshore call centre cant see the inaccuracies off the maths.
could professor Brian Hawkins,or another mathematician step forward to do the calculus please ;D

General Discussion Area / social housing residents
« on: 10 June 2014, 13:11:35 »
Around these ere parts, the housing association have built some nice new eye-sores, built them on the land were some old bungalows stood, taken out a green play area, and bloted out some of the existing residents views.

well today looks like veiwing day for some of the new inmates residents, and don't they all aspire to the stereotypical resident, Trackiee bottoms, tattoos, footie shirt and sparkly new trainees, (bit like,Dr stemo in national dress).

Nice of them to make an effort,.
