HBV Position
« on: 05 July 2012, 15:09:17 »

Does it matter if the HBV is laying on it's side, just replaced mine, (what fun ::)) fitted coolant pipes, now laying almost on it's side.
If someone can let me know quickly please before I start putting car back together, Please.

I would personally fit it as designed as there is a bracket that the cut out on its side slides into to keep it secure.Suppose if it was just fitted loose it could put strain on the pipes but doudtfull.

Probably no more akward fitting it correctly than not really as its a PITA either way.

Parts should always be fitted to the best of your ability, and a job well done :y....we leave the shoddy work to the alleged professionals  ;D
