Isn't 2106 the second to last code in the list, sommat to do with CANbus/transmission?  ;)

2106 is a comms error between engine ECU and TCM (but don't discount ABS communication).

Is the car an auto or a manual, or an auto thats been converted to manual?

Ah, ECU needs reconfiguring from Auto to Manual. Easily done with a Tech2.
